Yup. Some guys have "Peach Fir" others (like me)...not so much. I hav e found as you gety older it gets worse.

I've used Feather blades as well, and they were still fine after a dozen shaves.

I shave almost everyday and a Mach 3 cart lasts almost a month for me.

I don't do anything special and let it air dry.

Actually both blades are so sharp initially that I like the feeling after a couple shaves where they dull a little bit, and are a bit smoother on the skin.


Your post screams peach fuzz beard to me. I get about 3/4 of a shave from a Feather, and about 2 or 3 shaves from a Mach 3 before it's destroyed. Then again, my beard is like nails. It's very tough and hard on any type of blade.
