In Walmart the other day and noticed that the Bosch distance plus filters had purolator date codes and louvers. All the other posts I've read are from 5 years ago and they said they were made by champ.

I believe they are made by purolator i would buy a better filter.. The Fram ultra is a great filter so far.. Hopefully they dont ruin it by going cheap and using louvers.

Buy a deburring tool with your Purolator made filter.

How you gonna debur the holes from the inside I don't know.

Bosch Distance Plus has always been made by Purolator.

Bosch Premiums from WAY back were Champs. But that was about a decade ago.

They're still Purolator.

Until a couple years back, Purolator was a 50/50 joint venture between Bosch, and Mann-Hummel.

besides Purolator Filters, they made all the US made Bosch, and Mann Filters.

year or 2 back, Bosch pulled out of the venture, leaving it fully in the hands of Mann-Hummel.

after the split, Purolator retained the US manufacturing of Bosch branded filters.

Google led me to this thread.. Just picked up a couple D3323's at walmart for $5 each. One has a louvered center tube, the other has a traditional center tube with round holes.
