Hudson auto museum visit

My riding buddy and I rode up to Shipshewana yesterday to visit a Hudson auto museum. It was pretty cool with a pretty large collection. My grandfather was a Hudson man (although long before I was born). He owned a couple of new Hudson Hornets in the late 40's / early 50's.

Interesting, I never knew the museum was located in Shipshewana. My parents would meet my aunt and uncle from Chicago there since it was the mid point between the two locations. My uncle passed about a year ago and my dad is unable to travel now. Thanks for the info.

Cool visit - I'll have to put it on my list

I had a '53 Hornet with Twin H Power in HS. Pretty impressive car. We got 9 kids including me driving from church one Sunday to the Ice Rink. Most I ever had in there.

Comfy, relatively fast, handled OK and was strong. Got taken out years later by a lady making a U turn across a double yellow. Totaled her car, bent the rear door ...

Might check out the Studebaker Museum as long as you are up northern Indiana. It`s in South Bend, Indiana.

Also the Auburn-Cord-Dusenburg Museum is nice in Auburn, Indiana.

Packard Museum in Warren, Ohio is worth a visit.

Have been to the Studebaker (which is how we found out about Hudson), and the ACD museum in Auburn. Next road trip will be to the newly expanded USAF museum in Dayton. Packard museum sounds interesting.
