If the conversation is limited to cars that have been made available to the public and we discount concept cars, technological showcase one-off cars for shows etc, then (in my opinion):
The Ferrari F40 is THE MOST appealing car ever conceived of, from it's uncompromising focus to the form that entirely follows function, the mythology of the first ever 200+mph road car, the noise, the passion and the perception bending acceleration, nothing else even comes close.
Sure, a Camry is more practical and more comfortable and a chipped diesel truck makes more power and torque, but nothing holds a candle to the F40. It doesn't even have ABS!!
I can't argue that the Miura is more beautiful, and I can't argue that the LM002 bought 4wd to the supercar arena 20+ years earlier than Ferrari, but Lamborghini has been little more an a dressed up Audi for many years and prior to that the Diablo and Countach were impossible to drive unless you were a mix between Tom Cruise (short) and a gorilla (stupidly strong).
The choic is between the sometimes distasteful but very accomplished drivers car, or the consistently ostentatious under performer.
That being said, I would find a modern Lamborghini easier to live with as a daily driver but in that kind of price range I'd keep the Ferrari as a toy and continue to daily the Scirocco.
