Below I did my best to display the MicroGreen oil filter used at 8,114 miles. I was very please with the filters quality and media. Solid filter canister all around!

The secondary media disk was impressive and solid. The pleated media was stiff and made from the same material as the secondary filter media. The disk was like a cardboard and didn't flex.

I didn't have the fancy "can" opener so sorry for the [censored] cut.

There you have it. I'm currently using the filter on all my vehicles and after the 50% discount, the filter cost me 7.98. My UOA is posted in the UOA section using this filter.

Looks good. I'm glad i bought a few, I'm going to use one on my toro zero turn mower tomorrow.

Thanks for taking time to cut it open and posting pics.

Where do you get these? I've never seen them before until now. So are they like an extended OCI filter? Or are they just made with more environmentally friendly materials?

Thanks. I'm using the same model in two cars.
I noticed each filter looked like it had a dab on blue locitite on the threads with some excess residue on the face plate.

Looks outstanding!!!

Thanks for the pictures. These are going to be my new go to filters starting with my next oil change!

Can you show or tell how much space is left for the ADBV to open, by putting the element back onto the baseplate and pressing together? This is what mine looked like, but yours looks like maybe the baseplate is flatter, so may leave a space. On mine there is zero space for the ADBV to open. It was the M101-1 size.

That's really interesting. Can you see any way for the valve to open?

On mine, the only way it can open is if the element moves up with oil pressure. Which is does for sure, with that big coil spring, but then the seat of the ADBV would move up and oil would bypass. It may move up just a tiny amount to get enough oil flow. I asked MG and showed them the picture, no answer yet. On the uncut MG 101-1, when I push an object in the adbv hole I can hear the spring and element moving.

amazon.com
microgreenfilter.com --- This website explains about the Microgreen oil filters to a certain extent, but it doesn't give any specific filtration efficiency numbers.
