I bought 2 jugs of this to use in the Cherokee when I changed the radiator. I overestimated the coolant capacity on it, apparently. I still have one jug left.

Since I had the thermostat changed in the Focus, it burped here and there and it has now settled to a bit below the "fill" line.

Would this stuff http://www.walmart.com/ip/Super-Tech-Antifreeze/16645420 work with the G-05 in the focus without turning to sludge?

I don't recommend it, particularly since the G-05 is fairly new. Unversals usually have 2 EHA in it. Ford also recommends a shortened schedule for changing out G-05 that is not pure, as I recall.

If unopened, return the jug to Walmart, and then get more G-05 to complete the Focus change out.

+1 ST is a dexclone with 2eha. I wouldn't mix with G-05 in a Ford specing G-05, or even use it in said vehicle alone.
