The coating product is designed to last a good 2-3 years. It's a fair amount of work on the front end. If you're looking to apply a product twice a year with less front end work I'd probably go this route:

Once a week wash it with their Rinseless wash which is about $8 for a nice size bottle. This will keep the vehicles looking good on a weekly basis.

The feedback seems to be all across the board with Duragloss coating. There are many new players to the coating market and durability seems to be an issue with a lot of them. Most coatings (with the exception of Opti-Coat Pro) are turning out to be a SiO2 coating of some kind.

My recommendation is to stick with Optimum or CarPro for coatings. Those two brands have been "in the game" longer than anyone else. Optimum's gloss-coat is probably the easiest consumer coating to apply and they have also launched a prep product to go with it.

It is always best practice to clay and perform a light paint correction before any coating. Even if the paint is in the condition you desire, these two steps ensures that all contaminants are removed and any residual waxes/sealants (that could inhibit bonding) are removed.
