2014 Jetta SE door lock issues....

The drivers door lock on the 2014 Jetta has been making a squeaking / squealing noise lately, it only seems to do it on the first lock after the car has sat for a while so its hard to replicate. It also doesn't squeak when un-locking, only when locking. The locks still work just fine, but its making that squeaky noise when locking, it almost sounds like a faint cats meow. Have any of you experienced this or know what the issue could be?

You can't pull the door panel, figure out what parts move, and then put a little lubricant on them?

Yes, and next time it's in for service I will have them take a look at it. Just wondering if any of you experienced this type of issue, and what the resolution was.

Something plastic rubbing on something else plastic. Some white grease and it'll be quiet.

I had the same noise on a 2000 Passat glx ,started in cold weather and eventually had locking issues. Dealer balked on fixing problem, IIRC it was a cracked solder joint in the door locking mechanism. Dealer needs to fix the problem...Its under warranty !!!
