Looking to purchase a 1996 Sebring convertible this weekend. Did a search and partsgeek says toe MOPAR orange HOAT coolant. With a car this old, I would have guessed it ran on old school green. Thoughts?

+1. We had a couple of '96 Intrepids, and they came with green.

FF was IAT green, and if you don't mind changing coolant every 2 years then it will serve you fine.

If instead you want drain intervals every 5 years, then go HOAT: Zerex G-05 available at NAPA. This is what I use for a 1996 Jaguar XJR.

G-05 is a good choice and I would be careful to ensure that you are actually getting legitimate old school green, as many of them are actually Dexclones.

Appreciate all the feedback, but it's a moot point now. I found a Toyota Camry solara for $1850 out the door that I'm going to get.

So as Gilda Radner would say
