I know this is food related, but it's not about the actual food.

I'm in a situation where I'm going to have to cook a pork shoulder on a rainy day for our mother's day activities.

I have a Traeger pellet grill. The exhaust ports (two) are on the back of the barrel.

I'm not concerned about the grill getting a little wet, but I don't want it to be out working in a downpour if that happens.

I'm thinking of opening my garage door, setting the grill near the door, having a couple of fans blowing out of the garage to ensure the smoke leaves the garage.

Certainly not idea, but would it suffice?

Should be fine with fans.

But from this point forward, every time you go into the garage you are going to get hungry!

Thanks for the input. Helps to relieve the worry that others have done this.

I had a picture in my head of a Hick in the kitchen with the exhaust fan going. LoL.

Sounds good and delicious.
