Can anyone please explain the new additive package that BP is running in their fuels. I've seen commercials, online adverts, as well as radio spots, but I have no idea what BP has actually done. Their website is also completely useless as well.. Plus, I feel like this hasn't been brought up anywhere on the forums or elsewhere, so I'm a bit confused here.

Seems like the same stuff to me. Since I have two BPs close to me, I've been hitting them more, even with the kroger points I have. Used to run Amaco gas years ago, and the cars always did well on it.

Starting to look like my go to gas now...

Funny you should mention that. Every one of the BP stations in my area have been replaced by other major brands. Exxon, Marathon, Chevron being the closest ones.

There is a town I get gas in that has two BPs within a mile of each other. One gets gas from BP the other gets gas from Marathon.

I really don't think anything has changed from the original "BP with invigorate". I think they just re-launched it and are dumping a lot of money into advertising it.

I haven't noticed much difference in BP fuel. I actually seem to get less miles per tank than when I go to Sheetz or Sunoco, but I think that has to do with the hilly terrain I drive. It stays in my rotation because the one by me is priced competitively.

Arco used to be owned by BP. I remember seeing on their signs "A BP company" or something to that effect.

But you are right - I haven't seen any BP stations in all of Southern Ca that I can remember.

I buy BP cards from Kroger since they are always 2x the fuel points. Cash in the points at the end of the month ends up being 1 full tank with a dollar off a gallon for my truck. Then the remainder for the wifes suv. It's the only time I don't use top tier.

Yes

Just have to go to ARCO.

But Bp sold Arco to Tesoro Corp in 2013. I noticed the ARCO signs around here no longer say "A BP Company."

From Arco's FAQ page:
"How is ARCO gasoline affiliated with Tesoro Corporation?

As of June 1, 2013, Tesoro Refining & Marketing Company LLC (a subsidiary of Tesoro Corporation) acquired all of the rights, title and interest in the ARCO trademark
.

Do you read and research before posting? BP still operates 275 stations in California under license from Tesoro.

Yes I do read. Do you? I said the Arco stations no longer display the BP wording on their signs.
Sorry if I don't interpret things quite the way you do. I figured when BP sold the stations to Tesoro they no longer own them.

Excuse me - I'll leave the site to your superior intellect to enlighten of all us.

Also - the web page you referenced has no date when it was last updated as far as my old eyes can see. I have seen many large companies that are very slow to update their web sites.

But since you are obviously so much wiser and smarter than I am, I will bow down to your great wisdom.

Later.
