This filter has a little more miles than I usually put on them due to a family member having a stroke so an oil change was the last thing on anyone's mind anyways 7k miles with 13q rotella t3 15w40 seems to have a tear/media glue separation goin on the media dosent seem to be torn but is separated from the glue so in either case a failure yall can be the judge of it

Filter looks fine.

Im sorry to hear about your family member. I hope things are improving and wish them a speedy recovery.

Group 7 is made by Purolator (or they used to be) so they use the same date code scheme:

F10E14F1

F = Fayetteville, North Carolina Plant
10 = Month
E = Year 2013
14 = Day of the Month
F = Line Number
1 = Shift

Unfortunately not. Current year Motorcraft filters for my PSD still have the string around them. It is just an old design.
