Had these fitted to one of my vehicles just after Christmas.

Size was 185/65/14

Up sized from 175/70/14

They are wearing well and seem well up to the job for the price paid, £140 for four.

Nexen tyres are now being fitted to some brand new Kia's as OE tyres. Alongside the South Korean brand Hankook.

After nearly 6k they have 7mm on the front and 8mm on the rear, nice and even wear aswell, I stupidly didn't check how deep the thread was when new!

Just thought I would post up my findings for anybody looking for a decent tyre at a reasonable price.

I think I may need a more accurate tyre gauge!

I can't see only 0.3mm of thread being used in the mileage travelled!

I used one of the cheap gauges with the sliding barrel!

They do look hardly worn though. And didn't have the squashy, squidgy sensation I felt with my Goodyear UltraGrip 8's a few years ago.

Haven't driven in snow yet, but we are forecast snow in the next week or so! So I will perhaps get a chance soon.

I can say for sure that they represent very good value for money and I would happily buy them again. Certainly for less powerful cars or standard family vehicles.

I must admit I didn't expect them to be as good as they are.

These are a fairly new tyre i believe and superseded the Snow G.

What kind of mileage did you get from the Winguard Sport?
