It was a mistake the customer made. We recommended that he stay under 8K prior to the oil change. Thankfully the vast majority of his mileage is highway miles. As dgunay stated, 10K seems to be a good interval with his usage.

No makeup oil. It was only ~3/4l low when he came in for the change.

Thank you for that! We haven't examined the ports at all. When he hits the 100K mark we'll be recommending servicing the supercharger oil, which would make it a good time to examine the ports.
