Click bait. It's to get you to click so the website operator gets advertising revenue.
Or "With this one stupid thing!" It's truly a revenue generation.

I played along with that type of ad..... once. It's amazing how long they string you along.

I clicked one once on a protected hotel web browser. It was like an hour movie. No thanks.
