Valvoline's warranty is worse! To keep their warranty in effect, they expect you to change their synthetic oil every 3000 miles. . .apparently they don't have much confidence in their products.

. . .and for them to want you to abide by the OEM recommendations for maintenance isn't unreasonable in my opinion.
