1995 geo tracker 1.6 16valve

I need to replace the valve seals on my 1995 geo tracker 1.6L 16 valve. Any recommendations on a valve spring compressor to do this with the head on. Long story on this thing with a burned valve.I got the head redone. Re-installed with head gasket on wrong burned up the original head now this used head I put on without putting valve seals in. Puff of smoke at startup. Compression and leak down tests ok. Just going to try the seals if I can do it without taking the head off. Its pretty tight in this little 16 valve overhead cam engine.
If anyone ever asks how long and engine will idle with no oil going to the cam before it seizes up.Its about 30 min or so.

I googled "geo tracker valve spring compressor" and found this with good reviews.

You know to put rope into the cylinder or use compressed air thru the spark plug hole to keep the valves from falling in.

Always wondered about the rope deal. Anyone every actually done this successfully or just read about it?

I used the rope deal exclusively when I worked as a mechanic. Worked like a charm.

I was planning on using compressed air.Just trying to narrow down what tool to buy. So many choices and styles.
