Is 740hp enough power for a .... Golf?!

Blame Canada: a Golf R transformed into 740 hp with 7 speed AWD. I thought my stock golf did well on throttle.

I think the first one is plenty fast. 0-60 in 2.8 seconds. I wouldn't want a bright red one with stickers on it. I'll take black/grey with sticker delete. Of course the sticker delete will slow it down some. 0-60 in 2.9 seconds.

That Golf 2 is around 600hp per liter, that would be very peaky and hard to drive. I dare say nearly impossible to drive. Very cool none the less.

I do like the launch technique. Drop clutch and spin wheels at 60 mph until car is going 60mph, do the same at 80mph, then grab gears fast...
