I climbed under my truck and noticed a huge cat converter the size of a torpedo. It must be 8" in diameter with 3 sensors inserted into it. My question is the wiring going to these sensors made of some super insulation as the wire was close to or touching the outside of the cat at I saw not indication of melted insulation.

I assume it gets hot on the outside? Can the wires going to the sensors touch the outside?

You think that's big? You should see the size of the pieces under my automatic Cummins Ram. Pull over, that a** is too fat.

Does it look like the factory secured the wires that way?

Thats the issue, I do not think the sensor wiring was properly secured at the factory.
