CRC red sta-plex, an inferior product now?

I bought a tube at HF two days ago, when comparing it to an older tube I have, not only the the packaging is different, but also the specs,
same part No (SL3190),

Doesn't that just spec thickness?
 
Man that is B.S. if they changed the formula and kept the same part number. They are NSF certified? Because if you change something, all the documentation has to be updated. New formula means new numbers.

What if they used a higher load for the newer weld point test than in the older test?
