brake booster vacuum line loose

2001 toyota highlander found the brake booster vacuum line where it connects to the engine , loose, it slips on a pipe and is held in place by a squeeze to loosen metal band clamp, you could slide the hose back and forth the pipe.
I moved clamp, seems better,
strange to me.

Rubber deteriorates so you need to replace the hoses that are showing distress.Don't let anyone tell you the screw clamps are better that the OEM constant pressure Mubea type clamps.

Normal. You can pull & install the hose with the spring clamp in place. All Toyota vacuum lines are that way
