08 F150 FX4 5.4 3v w/5w-30 PU/Amsoil SS wMC Filter

Ok my last oil change on the F150 was 3/11/2015
with Pennzoil Platinum 5w50 6 quarts and 1 quart of Amsoil 5w30 SS I had laying around, and a Motorcraft FL820S filter. I have only put 3,000 miles on the oil and filter and when I turn the truck on it usually sees the highway for several minutes. Occasionally it will just be started to do a vehicle driveway shuffle. Should I drain it? Or keep rolling a little longer? Thanks for the input! -Cody

I'd go another 2K regardless of time.
I'd also avoid the 'driveway shuffles' as much as possible.

I was thinking that also. The quick start and stops are hard on the oil and the engine. I notice with this 5.4 3v the tensioners/phasers have a little noise for a few seconds on start up after not being ran for awhile. I read it's normal on these trucks though.

You need something more important to worry about. The oil drains down when the engine isn't running,
