Any professional digital video editors here?

I am not a pro but I edit some event or tech video occasionally using Sony Vegas Professional.

I really don't even get the point of this guy in the link.

The video is some kind of press release. A raw video would straight out of the camera original file name and all. Certainly not a video edit of multiple cameras with cuts between cameras.

Of course the files are going to be very large and the specific time zone of interest would have to be cut out. So your are not going to get the original 3-5GB files. I don't get it, these are just some low res clips released to the public. Not a big deal.

And sure, anyone can do almost anything with modern video editing software. Its similar to photoshop.

Thanks Jeff, do you think the original video had been two separate videos spliced into one? Is this the main point of his work? Its a wrongful death lawsuit is the main point. He has more pages of it on his site. He is an expert witness in the case. I have no experience in editing other than splicing some 1960's 16mm tape when my parents had a movie camera.
