Penrite 90th Anniversary catalogue

Worth a download and a read if you are interested in Penrite. It includes a bit of company history in Australia, plus the specs for their oils.

I think they make a very good oil.

Penrite give some good data on their web page, but they don't list HTHS, so I asked them about a few products I am interested in and received this reply:

Please see below HTHS for the products you requested
Everyday full synthetic 5W-30 – 2.9
Everyday full synthetic 10W-40 – 4.0


Also, Shannow has previously given me these HTHS figures
10Tenths Racing 5W-30 = 3.34
10Tenths Racing 10W-40 = 4.49

What I like about Penrite is that they seem happy for your to mix their oils, to get the HTHS / Viscosity you require, as long as you stick to the same product line, which should have compatible additive packs.
