What would be the best board games to have fun with at a home BBQ while sipping session beers, and chowing down on BBQ food. I was recommended Balderdash, and Charades for their fun and creative playing styles. They do look like great suggestions that would keep my guests laughing and having a lot of fun for hours-on-end, and that's what I want.

Are there other fun board games I should look into?

Cards against humanity is HILARIOUS.

Even more so if there are a few beers added in

I work with 22-25 year old web, mobile and game developers. A bunch of them on lunch break get together and play board games to get away from screen.

I am in tears everytime I play this, usually with adult beverages.

Apples to Apples. Works with folks from a wide range of ages, education, intelligence, backgrounds.

For a card game, especially for madriver's game developers, and ESPECIALLY if any of them have played D&D or any of the similar computer games: Munchkin.
