Some of these modern cars are more bronze than "brown". I love metallic bronze or brownish-copper. Under full sun they are amazing, but at the same time they don't show swirls as much as black. So they are a good compromise -- more glossy than white/silver but not as high-maintenance as black
When I think of "brown", I think of those 70s brown cars like the Pinto. I hope that color never comes back. Same goes with the wood-grain station wagons
