As a current VW 2.0 TSI owner
Please use 5K oil change intervals.. are you OUT OF YOUR MIND to do 10k oil changes on k04 application for your car?
our fuel here in USA is different then Euro, also a contributing factor.
Do engine favor and do 5k oil changes, costs more yes.
But then, look at VW Warranty and scheduled maintenance.. Includes free oil changes at 10k.. meaning they perform only 3 oil changes for you under warranty. This is cost savings to them as well.
Change at 5K miles, get rid of the K&N air filter -- are you not using Cold Air Intake on K04 setup??
Also the 2.0 TSI engine is known for Timing Chain Tensioner failure on earlier 2010 - 2012 engine builds.
