Lucas Red and Tacky for u joint?

So I greased my John Deere garden tractor u joints with Lucas Red and Tacky. Now I am wondering if this is the right decision. Will I be ok?

I have personlly used it for ball joints, bearings, amd more. Nothing wrong with it

I doubt grease type will make much difference. As long as it's NLGI 1.5 - 2 (ie not too thin) and you grease them on schedule it should be fine.

I use it on motorcycle swing arm bearings with no problems.
