You probably won't find much good information on it because additives are generally not worth the money.
In most cases the additives do nothing, in some cases they can actually cause harm to your engine. All the automotive manufacturers I'm aware of explicitly state not to add anything other than engine oil to the crankcase. Check your owners manual to make sure your using the correct viscosity grade and api service category or if you have something custom post more details for help with finding the right oil
