Cutter for 5" and up filters

Does Longacre make a filter cutter that will cut filters that are 5" diameter and larger? If not, what brand of cutter should I be looking for? Thanks in advance

Mine was from Jegs and is rated to do filters up to 5.5". Not sure if that's big enough for you.

Wow! That's a lot of money to just cut open oil filters!

I cut mine open with a cutting wheel on my angle grinder, put the filter in a vise. Took maybe 30 seconds. I didn't cut any media either and didn't see any metal shavings in it.

Have cut lots of filters with that cutter including some large & heavy Quincy commpressor filter cutter opened all way up cuts perfect just remember to remove gasket.

I meant that a chainsaw chain section turns this filter removal tool into a $10 thin-wall oil filter cutter.

The one I bought from Ebay for $38 shipped does up to 6 1/2 inch. I am sure the Jegs cutter is good too, but the time I had to pay taxes the Jegs cutter was going to cost $51.85 shipped. Already cut over 10 filters with the Ebay cutter, and it works good plus the cutting wheel is easy to change. Last time I checked, the Jegs cutter wheel is not serviceable.
