15' Audi A4 quattro 2.0T Valvoline 0W40 7510 miles

This car had a previous 5K run using the same oil before changing it and doing the 7510 mile run. The oil is Valvoline Synpower 0W40. I used an OEM Mann oil filter. The engine consumed half a quart of oil during it's run and I topped it off with the same exact oil. The car was driven in mixed conditions including a trip to NYC.

"Viscosity high for specified oil grade." ?? What do they mean by that?

If anything, at 11.1 cSt it's lower than it's supposed to be.

Why does the lab want you to reduce your OCI? What problems are they seeing?

That's what I'm thinking,looks like a super thin 40wt. I saw either a voa or uoa of Syntec 10W30 years ago that was something like 10.5
 
The oil looks good, maybe it could have gone longer. With the turbo, I don't blame you for being safe. Good post.
