Agreed, but to feel the torque on a second, third or fourth gear roll on is something a Civic can't give ya.

And current performance cars can post numbers like a 1970's Pro Stock drag car.
560 German HP routed through state-of-the-art traction control reliably yields 12 second 1/4 mile times.
