That looks like a good idea but I wonder how I would be able to fasten it to the lamp.
I am temped to try this. I like natural white tint. It will fit inside the glass bowl of the lamp. It could just sit or I could 3M double side it. It claims
Color: Warm White / Cool White / Natural White
Working input Voltage: AC 85V-265V
CE Certificate guarantee
But I can't see where is the LED driver in this picture.
Super Bright 5730 SMD LED Panel Circle Annular Ceiling Light Fixtures Board $17 shipped; was very quick shipping coming from far east! Previously, I had purchased similar but 18W from another seller but I like this 24W much more. I have two of those floor lamps. The 24W turns on fraction of a second later than the 18W. For some weird reason, all the LED lights which have strips in them always have a turn-on delay. They are all under a second but when you turn on a switch, ONE MISSISSIPPI is a long time The ring and the driver is very light so I just used some tape to stick it to the lamp. The ring came with magnetic standoff but at least for this lamp the ring sits in the glass bowl.
Thanks guys. I still have old school light bulbs I would love to convert. I have a beautiful Art Deco torchiere with a 3 way Magnum base bulb running 300 watts
