I was given a Lenovo K330A with an i3 2100/Intel HD 2000 APU and 8G DDR3 1333. The 1TB HDD was DOA, so I slammed in an 80Gb Seagate loaded with Mint and I am currently posting this with it.

I am trying to load Windows 7 from bootable USB but I cant seem to get it to go. I used linux to create the bootable USB after downloading the ISO from softpedia. Bios settings are set with USB 1st, and even hitting F12 and selecting PNY USB 2.0 (my flashdrive) it goes to the grub menu or just boots Mint.

Any help would be helpfull.

I was using the bootable USB creator in Linux and having no luck. Went ahead and used Rufus in Windows 10 and seems to be doing the trick now. Installing now.

I decided to try and install Windows 10. I skipped the COA key until the install was completed and entered the Windows 7 key after rebooting. Activated with 0 issues and running great.
