Cleansing additives on VML and Durablend.

I've been using Valvoline DuraBlend for the last 2 or 3 OCIs on my old Zetec engine but I switched to MaxLife synblend on the last OCI because it was cheaper than DuraBlend so I decided to give it a try.

Anybody knows which one of them have more cleansing additives?

I'd guess Maxlife. All high mileage oils I've seen always advertise more cleaning power,more anti wear,etc.

Honestly it's probably about the same. MaxLife just seems to be DuraBlend + extra seal conditioners.

I am gonna say Durablend as it doesn't have all the seal seellers that MaxLife has. I'm having success with Furablend and some full syn MaxLife 5w30 blend in my Jeep
