Had an area of "garden" that was only good for growing weeds...we DID get tomatoes when we made the effort. It was next to the downstairs laundry, which I'm in the process of moving back downstairs to free up some room in the house.

In my time off, between thunderstorms (it's sort of like we now have a "monsoon" season, 95-100F in the morning, and torrential afternoon rain), and working only in the 95-100F periods, converted it to this.

Haven't had a chance to properly commission it yet, as when it's properly "beer oclock", it's pouring with rain again.

How old is your house? The brickwork looks similar to mine, which is 1908. Though I imagine the different in climate may have an effect on how it ages.

Nice work BTW!

That's my neighbour's house, mine is fibro cement sheeting from the '50s.

I really don't know how old his is, guessing '30s, but don't know.

Thanks for the compliment, I was prett happy.

Nice looking upgrade.

Is that a sheepdog in the lower left corner of the horse silhouette thing? Neat detail considering where you are located.

Yep, that was a gift from my Mum for my birthday, and it needed somewhere to sit...
