All I can really think of is when I got a stereo catalog there was a Kentwood in-dash radio.

I think the Chinese were notorious for this in the 1990s.



Some grocery stores had fun with soft drinks, do you remember any from the last millennium?
 
If you go to the flea market, you will see all kinds of counterfeit AA batteries from China. I have seen Dunacell, Dinacell, and Toceba and I am sure there are even more fake names. The colors on the package are the same, but tests indicate the batteries don't last nearly as long as the real battery.

If you look at the Flashlight world there are tons. Trustfire and Ultrafire (ala Surefire) come to mind... Although I've found Ultrafire is a pretty decent budget brand!
