Volvo B5204T2 Engine Oil Recommendation

I have an 850 T5 - Volvo recommend 5W30 only to 20C, for my temp range they recommend 15W40, Fuchs recommend CFX 15W40, I'm using their HDEO 15W40.

Hungary we have a wider temp range (between -10°C up to +30°C), so that's why 5W40 is preferred (approved on this engine by the manual).
We have on sale the new Shell Helix Ultra 5W40 A3/B4 (Pure Plus, the GTL one), so I will give it a try (USD 6.60 per litre/quart = good price here for a premium oil).

Nice! Can you read where in EU oil was made? I had first jug made in Poland, second was Dutch.

In Hungary you can go with 5W30 ACEA A3/B3 B4 with no problems.
Euro 5W30's are on heavy side and 5W40's are on light side. You can combine them, in winter use Shell Helix 5W30 and in summer 5W40.
