2009 Smart Car, Castrol Edge 0W-40, with NAPA Platinum Filter...

I did not know if this was the old formula Edge with or without titanium, looks like without.

This fill was Castrol Edge 0W-40, without titanium (old bottle)
Ran really well until the end, transmission started to hunt, power (from a 999 cc 3 cylinder) was missing.
Temp was really stable, 185 plus or minus 2. 183 to 187...
Oversized filter, Fram 7317 equivalent (NAPA Platinum 41356)

Current fill is Pennzoil Euro 0W-40, really smooth, temp is fluctuating a little more, plus or minus 8, 177 to 193...

The oil is down to a 30 grade, but I dont see any issues really.

Looks like your car is spec'd from a 0W30 up to a 5W50 (with 0W40 being the highlighted recommendation according to Mobil). I'd meet it in the middle (like I do for my car) and stick with a 40 wt. Your uoa looks great! I'd keep on doing exactly what you're doing.
