How long does the total quartz last in the engine? I had my oil changed almost 6 months ago and only driven 2500 miles. Is there a concern for oil breaking down over time with few miles?

Total Quartz should last 12 months under adverse conditions or 24 months under normal

oil is 5 30 I believe,
and the car is 2005 Toy corrolla 119k total miles and 2500 miles since my oil change and been 6 months. very light city driving.

I'd change oil once a year if you do a lot of city driving.

Change acording Toyota - 6 months/5000 km,
but in Europe same engine 12 months/15000 km

It`s a good oil, I wouldnt change for less than 10000 km.

As long as you are using the recommended grade it will last the standard drain interval with no problems, just make sure you get the correct Total Quartz for your engine.
