Hello guys. Just got back my first UOA for my 335i.
They list everything as normal, but I'm a bit concerned about the viscosity. I can't recall ever seeing GC shear down to 10.3 cSt. There is no coolant or water in the sample, but I'm thinking there may be some fuel dilution. Unfortunately, I didn't realize this lab doesn't supply fuel dilution numbers.
I looked at some Blackstone reports for this engine and the universal averages show that my copper and aluminum numbers are equivalent to other 335i's running 6k miles (I only ran 3k), so I'm a bit concerned about that. Maybe due to the low viscosity? I have switched to M1 0w40 in my latest oil change.
FYI, I am tuned and pushing about 400whp. What do you guys think?
