Optilube XPD

Hi, I bought a new Silverado 2500 High Country Diesel. I've been adding Optilube XPD to every tank at a rate of about 2 ounces per 10 gallons (5oz lucus bottle to 25 gallons). The bottle recommends adding 2.5 ounces per 10 gallons.

Any reason for adding double the amount every 5 or 10k?

How much are you paying for a gallon of this stuff?

The reason I ask is that it has about the same solvents as Berryman's.

If same as Berrymans, I'd save your money and just put gas in it. Or find a product with PEA in it.

$67 per gallon on Amazon. I starting using Amsoil's stuff then saw a comparison here and XPD (or maybe it was just Optilube) was I believe the 3rd best on the list. Plus it has the cetane booster.

Standard Treatment Rate: 1 to 512 minimum (.25oz per gallon of fuel)

Recommended Rate (cold weather): 1 to 256 (.5oz per gallon of fuel)
