Now that Mann-Hummel has taken over the entire joint venture, what Happens to Bosch filters, are they still Puro made or do they go away entirely? Move to a different producer?

The Website appears to still offer the same filters and the local 'Zone has plenty of "premium" in newer boxes with newer looking labels....

What say the group?

I would imagine the Bosch line that was made by Purolator will still be made by them, just under different company control. Hard to say ... and haven't seen any plans of a design change on the Bosch line like the Purolator line, even though some Bosch filters suffered media tearing just like the Purolators.

It's possible the guts/media of the Bosch filters may also change to mirror the Purolator changes, but might still look the same on the outside. Hard to say until time unravels things.

if memory serves correct, if it says Made in the USA, it's still a purolator filter. Similar to Mann, if you want one that's Not a Purolator, it has to say made in Germany.

It will take some time to change to the new design, is my partial group say. Purotator needs to reel them all in, all the house brands and clones. Except Motorcarft, maybe they will get new guts or change entirely. Can't see them making the old for too long.
