V1 has 'paid' for itself many times over. Can't speak to competitors' functionality.

I've used both and hands down V1 is better of the two and less falsies as well. Once you get used to the arrows you'll never go back.
V1 is the easy winner for situational awareness. The others all go beep.
The problem is, no matter the brand, any well trained LEO can shoot you with instant-on Ka band or a LIDAR unit and all any detector will tell you is when to pull over and get out your papers...
