This M1-211 was on my daughters 2001 Focus Ztec for 6000 miles with Maxlife 5w-20.
I was going to run it for two intervals but since I had not cut open a Mobil 1 yet, curiosity won out and I changed it. I did not see this car often during this run, but I never heard start up noise when it was here. I replaced it with another M1-211 and Maxlife 5w-20. This one will stay on for two oil changes.

I took more pictures of the media, but I made the mistake of taking pictures of the Mobil 1 media and then a Wix 51315 back to back, and I can't tell where one set ends and the other begins. The media looks and feels exactly the same on both filters. With both in my hands I can't tell the difference. I decided to post the first one because I know for sure the first few were the M1-211.

+1

That filter still looks new.

I picked up a few of these on 'clearance' at RA for my ZX-2.

The Zetec now specs the Motorcraft FL400 because they stopped making the FL2005 (which this Mobil 1 cross references to).
The FL2005 (and this M1) have the ADBV near the threads.

Does anybody think there would be a problem running these filters in a Duratech (MZR) engine in later a Focus?

I'm envious of how you got the media off the center tube so cleanly
