They've been talking that for decades. It will never happen. People will never allow it. Right now you have over 90% lack of compliance with the New York "Safe Act". People are not selling, or turning in their weapons and high capacity magazines. They are currently experiencing the largest case of civil disobedience in the history of gun laws in the United States. This will only get worse. You'll see blood in the streets before you see nationwide gun confiscation. They would have to change the Constitution and remove the Second Amendment. It will never happen.
