My two Tecumseh-powers mowers give about an hour and a half of cut time on a quart of fuel.
What more could you want?
I've found the Tecumsehs to be very good engines, dare I say even better than Briggs?
Keep the old dear until it dies and then replace it with another Tecumseh machine you find dirt cheap on CL or sitting at the curb on trash day.
