This oil went in at 160,309 it has been sampled several times, obviously.

It was changed this time.

This car has moved on to another family member so this may be the last sample from it, though I will likely still take care of it, its use will be infrequent.

Looks like you could have gone even longer.

Strange that lead dropped to zero in this sample, but again, we are talking about just a few ppm here.

Especially since it is the exact same oil that had 5ppm ~1500mi ago.
 
Too low calcium for M1 0W40. I would say that oil does not hold additives in this engine. They are on rings as high temperature deposites. I suspect at least 1.5 quarts make up, right?

No make up oil at all.

It was not appreciably low when changed either, probably only the samples, perhaps slightly more.

I think you should ask both yourself and Blackstone where that lead went to.
 
Just thinking out loud here; but I don't think the lead that looks to have gone away was or is a problem. Just my mechanical mind and opinion

Well, it hasn't shown any signs of blowing up.
