Very possible. I think it could work if done right.

"Mazda" is a cooler sounding name than "Mitsubishi" in my view, I admit partly because I think of WWII arms when hearing Mitsubishi. For consumer cars/SUVs, the Mazda name works in a marketing sense. Therefore, any merger of Mazda-Mitsubishi would need to maximize product appeal around the world while combining engineering resources and manufacturing commonality for economy of scale benefits.

It's not a matter if Mazda sounding better, it's the fact that we could shoot down 13 of their Mitsubishi planes for each one we lost that makes me want to avoid anything made on Mistubishi.

What?

So, if Mitsubishi planes had a higher kill ratio than American planes during WWII, you would be more willing to buy their products?

That doesn't even begin to hint at making sense.

BC.

The same could be said of the MKIV TT Supras as well.

IF they were as common as Camrys (and could NOT be boosted over stock to make much power) would all of the ricer fanboyzz who deify the thing to no end still think it was the prettiest thing ever put on wheels??
