Focus and organization are my weakness. I spent more time looking for stuff for the Honda, than.. working on the Honda.

That video guide really helps, too.

Will the new Blazer be dismantled and inoperable before Christmas? Will the Honda ever move out of the driveway under its own power? Will Joseph continue to make poor financial decisions at his own expense? I'm excited to see!

Bandito! You keep missing one! Your list is incomplete!

I remember my Jag with that 2010 Indiana, though.

The latest:

hang in there,'prone.the guys will be there to walk you through this, as always.one day at a time.
when you get some time, it would be nice if you could make a Christmas video for the guys.i'm sure that many would appreciate it.the vehicles, of course, have priority.
good to have you back.

How many times have you been kicked off this forum and come back under another name? Is that some sort of twisted source of pride?

I'm pretty sure he's already been banned again. Ratchetgrinder doesn't appear in the user list.

What he needs to do is go over to the Garage Journal and practice his skills over there.

Yer spending more time posting all these pics and walls of text, pointing out the glaringly obvious..instead of getting to the root cause and fixing it.

You have the new heater core. It took me 8 hours on my 76 Volvo.

Plan on at least a weekend doing yours.

Make sure you test your new heater core first.

What the heck, lets make this thread 12 pages long about one subject.

Ive had 32 cars since '95, learned alot doing everything myself w/o the internet.

Care to join us, Engineer20?

Sorry, cant help it.

Being deaf myself, I feel more 'connected' to the car, when something doesnt sound or feel right, I check it out, and FIX it.

Did a valve adjustment on a '66 Datsun PL411 w/ the A13, pushrod engine.

Didnt tighten the #4 intake rocker lock nut enough. Pushrod slipped out jamming the intake valve open.

Sounded like a machine gun all the way to town. A town mechanic of 40yrs diagnosed it with a flat cam lobe.

Went home, pulled the valve cover and fixed it in 15 minutes. No help from the internet in '99

Now I want another datsun.. theyre gettin scarce these days. Its like working on a lawn tractor, so eff'in simple.

The original asking price was $1,300 however the guy wanted to sell so I actually got it for 5.. that is not a lowball either the Craigslist ad set $700 or best offer so I actually offered 5 and saw that I had previously been $1,300 at some point when I saw the for sale sign on the truck when I got to CT with the u-haul. (The u-haul part had nothing to do with the truck and everything to do with ownership transfer issue from out of state and all that good stuff)

It's not the prettiest vehicle in the world know but its not a garage queen either.

This truck also has 132000 miles on it and it's well worth keeping.

Again I would have to ask you to check out my youtube for a video proof of all this but this one is the opposite of the one before it where if you name something the chances are that it had an issue.

There's simply no way a private seller is going to part with a mechanically sound 4x4 with 132k miles for $500.

I presume you didn't do any inspection when purchasing (or bring along someone who knows what they're looking at), and probably just rode around the block and called it good?

The floorboard is absolutely soaked in a toxic liquid, and the engine is ingesting coolant as well; the repairs involved here are beyond the scope of what you can accomplish.

I'll repeat what I told you before: Sell the vehicles, save your money (you don't even need a car!), and when it comes time to purchase something in the future, ask someone to help who will keep you from purchasing another pile of junk.

"For now" being the operative phrase. It won't for long...dumping coolant all over the place (@ :40 seconds in video).

I must have told him a dozen times to take advantage of the public transportation that's available all over large cities the Northeast. Instead, be buys junk vehicles, destroys them, and repeats. He'll never get out of this cycle until he manages to take some personal responsibility. It doesn't help that his mother is subsidizing the behavior by allowing him to live for free in the basement.

So, when he comes back here looking for attention again, my advice will be the same:

Sell your junk vehicles, stop buying junk vehicles, stop buying bottles of snake oil, stop buying energy drinks and prepared foods. Budget and save, and find a reliable vehicle with a good maintenance history once all debts are paid.

They also nuked Mori BRZED in the crackdown against terrorists trolls.

I have completed an extremely unscientific study of Joseph's posts-per-month rate. It's in bold, below. Numbers are inside Bandito's quote, bar graph is outside.

And in bar-graph form, so you can see the trend (starting with JcCadilliacMobile):

M----------------------------------------------
I-----------

R------

The trend appears to be down...

^ Ha. That's clever.

You should note that 50 of his posts were on 11/24... in the morning... before he was banned. Statistics are fun. Who knows what Blazer destruction the afternoon would have held for us!
